Celebrating Christmas in Style

The final event held by the Chaine des Rotisseurs Bangkok-Rattanakosin was the continuation of an annual tradition for our young bailliage: a yearly celebration of Christmas. For 2024 we celebrated “Italian-style”, at the Riva del Fiume at the Four Seasons by the storied Chao Phraya. Guided by talented Chef Andrea Accordi, diners were treated to a virtual armada of delicious bites, ranging from capon raviolis to grilled deer with red cabbage.

But the best part of the evening was arguably the part where we were made to fend for ourselves: an oyster station filled to the brim with fresh Gillardeaux; a cheese station full up with more than its share of Comté, Époisses and Ubriaco; and an eye-watering selection of desserts that represented the full extent to how much Italians love both desserts and Christmas. Of course, the evening was aided with many, many glasses of Blanc de Blancs, and don’t forget the mulled wine. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2025. Until then, happy holidays!
